Soo yeah, my hair is back to the short cut! Man it's too dang hot for that weave anyway, im just saying! Anyway, I must admit that I am absolutely in love with my new cut. It completes me. Lol, no but seriously .. that "edgy-ness" I was lacking was completely due to my hair style. Curly and long hair is definitely cute, and I still love it. but somehow, this is ME.

I went looking for a place to shoot an OOTD and came across this ... strange, kinda creepy "nature-alley" i would call it.

I mean it was day time but I can imagine how scary something like this would be at night.

Most of it looks like a place to dump trash. Ew

But this couch amongst the bushes was an interesting find.

Recently I was shopping around on Romwe and being the frugal fashionista I am, I headed straight for the cyber sales racks. There I found sooo many cute things, but more specifically, stumbled across many pieces I've seen before and for even cheaper than Romwe's listed prices.

Exact same items for even cheaper than the sale prices! Can you believe it?

Well you should because I'm here to share with you.

So many people are hesitant to shop from Ebay. I've heard the "ew isn't it all used" remark and "i'm not sure how to use it" response too. Well I'm not gonna sit here and do Ebay 101, if you're interested you'll figure it out (like i did :]) but keep in mind that not everything on there is used. In fact the majority of items are brand new. They tend to be mass produced/wholesale items. Many of your favorite online boutiques probably source from these international (usually China/Australia) distributors. I just cut the middle man and go directly to Ebay, pay cheaper prices, and get exactly what I still wanted ... usually. I hope this inspires you to get out and look. Remember that there's always a lot of other options out there.

I really want to do a post about my flaws, insecurities, truths about me. but until I feel more comfortable with opening up to whoever is reading this ... I won't post it. I've begun working on it tho.

The first words that come to mind are "Ray J, So you mad?"

I mean hello, how much more obvious could you be ... clearly your feelings are a little hurt. Kim K moved on and your career still isn't there. Lol no disrespect to Ray J, he's had some hits, but if you come for Kanye just expect to lose your head. I mean in all honesty this is kind of funny *crying laughing face* but the woman is pregnant. let her go Ray J, the fact that you are still fixated enough to make a single about her and her new beaux. it just goes to show how desperate you are for attention.
I plan on listening to it tho .... ;-)

Scary Beautiful

So i'm literally a year late to discover these. but i thought i'd share anyway. Scary is an understatement for these shoes. Essentially they are a backwards heel with a message behind them. I believe, more or less, the artists intention was to reject our society's ideal around beauty and being perfect. It's a unique concept, but I have to be honest that watching the model walk in the shoe was a bit disturbing.

No seriously ... I'm up writing a 2000 word paper and I'm only at 500 words. I'm just so busy it seems like I always end up accomplishing the most work between 11pm and 4am. Why? I'm not sure. Maybe I just function well at night. Currently working on a research paper about how women are mistreated in the media and how it affects everybody's view of women etc. You know what I'm talking about.

Anyway, this is my break to clear my head. Too much research.

I hope all of you enjoyed your Easter. I didn't take many pics but I really enjoyed it. I spent it with my best friend's family. I was unable to drive home because my car is experiencing some engine problems. Could break down on me any day but I'm praying it'll last at least through the summer while I work toward a new car ^_^ 

Anywhooo... back to this paper.
