OOTD | The Birthday

Soo today was my 20th birthday. I spent this past weekend with family, but today was all for myself. I had plans to do things w friends, but nothing ever goes as planned. So i celebrated by spoiling myself: spa day then shopping. Surprisingly it turned out okay, I got some new stuff and I can catch up with the homies later this week.

Feels good to complete my second decade on this earth. Now, I'm in the 10 year stride toward 30. Wow, with that said ... Soo many goals and so little time. But i realized today that if I want to achieve anything or be successful in any way, i CAN NOT wait on anyone. I have to go out and get it on my own, find my own success and pursue my own happiness. That's the way of life.

Yes i KNOW. I'm terrible with keeping my blog updated.

With work taking up 80% of my time, plus my habit to procrastinate... somehow my blog ends up as the last thing on my to-do list. I've had these snapshots of the Balmain Fall 2013 Ready To Wear collection waiting to be posted. Clearly though, I've been a bit too distracted. How could I miss pics of these amazing pieces just sitting on my desktop?! Gosh, I'm so obsessed with the luxe meets modern feel of the collection. Every detail is quite amazing in fact... i'm in love with the embellishments on several pieces. Overall the whole collection is wow, even down to the notable hourglass shape.
